Had a great time in Paris, and have some gorgeous images of sweet Dante' and his older siblings playing under the Eiffel Tower to share (once I recover from my jet lag and climb on top of this pile of things waiting to be dealt with)

Until then...the covers! :) The July covers will be shot on Friday, and we will have so much fun with those!

Also-we are *thrilled* to announce the unveiling of our new website...the ladies at Connective Designs did an amazing job, and it's clean, simple, sweet, and modern all at one time.

FUSION is taking off in a big way! Our calendars are already booking, so if you're thinking about it, do it! It's a worthy cause and with so many talented photographers, you can't go wrong!

just a few more sessions to proof before heading off to Paris for a few days of alone time with my husband. A quick newborn session to shoot while I'm there-I am excited to meet little Dante and his older siblings Savana and Rio!

my first session since completing cheryl jacob's workshop last week. I loved every minute of it, and came back energized, motivated, and inspired! what great timing for these boys!

Fusion is now live!

A wonderful group of photographers and myself have started a charity, and twice a year we'll choose a local charity that benefits children and have a little fundraiser.

Our first project is "Portraits for Heroes" benefitting Heroes for Children

Our website went live about an hour ago, and we are thrilled! 3 thousand postcards are going out in tomorrow's mail, another thousand will be spread around town at various boutiques, stores, and the two babystyle stores at willowbend mall and northpark mall. the last thousand are being distributed personally by us (so if you see me in the next few weeks, you'll be given a postcard of your very own) ;)

I am happy to report that the cover shoots for dallas child and fort worth child went well...two boys in innertubes in a pool...floating in two different directions...it was interesting, but fun and definitely a challenge! I hear that the magazine is thrilled with how they turned out, so that makes me happy! Look for the June issues!

The babyDallas cover is going to be stunning-that little guy was just gorgeous. That issue hits the stands in the fall, I don't know that I can wait that long!

I am behind in showing off recent sessions-so sorry to any families that are anxiously waiting to see their children!

playing catch-up...

this is from two weeks ago, just now going through them and am thrilled with how many great images I will have for sweet Connor and his amazing mom.

the last few really capture the spirit of Connor...he was such a doll throughout his entire session, but when we got down into the creek at the end he really let loose. Splashing, rolling, kicking, and more splashing...oh, and a little drink (because all that fun makes you thirsty!)

fort worth was my destination today...sweet tyler and active adam made for a fun and busy morning!

tyler was gorgeous in her adorable outfits, and I know it was hard for her mom to leave her hair down...but just look at how beautiful she is!

she told her mom afterwards that I am her new best friend (love you ty ty!)




















adam is 2.5, and didn't sit still for a second. luckily, he loves dora, and boots, and diego, and swiper...so my dora stickers came in handy and we worked fast! look at his amazing eyes! and those curls! he is a charmer, for sure!

dallas child's shoot was postponed today because of the rain, so I've been able to catch up on proofing.

This is from jacob's session-his parents are coming on monday to proof and I can't wait to show them how they turned out! Again, he has the coolest nursery!


I also have to show you this one image...I met my match at a session yesterday. Sweet Catherine was ready for her nap when I arrived (never a good sign) and it just went downhill from there. We rescheduled for another day, AFTER her nap ;)

I turned 30 this past weekend...and had a nice relaxing weekend to go with it!

Which is good, as the next 30 days are insane. I have six sessions between wednesday and sunday alone, two proofing sessions, and a shoot for Dallas Child's covers somewhere in there.

They want pool shots, and I'm hoping that a) the weather cooperates and b) the pool is heated as we are shooting at 9:30 on thursday morning. I also hope this doesn't involve ME getting in the pool!

I plan to buy and bring along a cute kid's sprinkler as back-up (and for my kiddos to have afterwards). Can't you just see it? two boys in brightly colored swim trunks and goggles, splashing their hearts out in a sprinkler? See...doesn't that sound nice? and it doesn't involve me trying to shoot down on two boys in floaties...it was suggested that I find a ladder to stand on to make that shot happen...did I mention that I sometimes have vertigo?

Anyway-proofing this session later today, as soon as I remember the name of the fourth cutie. 3 outa 4 isn't bad, but I am kicking myself because I wrote it down and now can't find it ;)
